The Drovers Rest has been a big part of our beer exploits since 2013 , but only ever as customers.  So it was with great honour that we accepted the offer to take the reins from Bill, Linda Sandy and Sarah in September 2020.

Tom and I met at Middle Ruddings, over a pint of Catnap (Barngates brewery) and over the past 10 years our relationship has involved beer in almost every aspect; drinking (obviously); serving several hundreds of different beers to customers; road trips across the country to collect special beers for festivals and tasting evenings.  Within that somewhere we stumbled upon Sandy and Sarah and the Drovers Rest.  We would drink at each other's pubs when in the area and enjoyed many a' beer at together.
