With savoy cabbage & smoked bacon

With chef’s pineapple sorbet

MAIN COURSE

Pot Roast Beef

Local brisket, very slowly roasted with red wine, herbs and root vegetables, served with a Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, and stock gravy

Grilled Plaice Fillet

With sauce vierge

Roast Leg of Lamb

Roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, mixed vegetables and pan gravy

Pork Wellington

Pork fillet with a layer of mushroom, thyme and prune duxelle, wrapped in pancake and puff pastry, baked till golden, served with a Madeira reduction.

Shepherdess Pie

An inspired combination of beetroot and lentil with a hint of chilli and curry flavours, topped with mashed potato.

 

DESSERTS

Iced Delight

A slice of crushed meringue, fruit sorbets and ice cream

Poached Rhubarb

With a hint of orange and ginger served with traditional custard or rice cream

Raspberry and pistachio meringue roulade

Served with a fruit coulis
